Testosterone Replacement

As an endocrinologist, Dr. Hayes specializes in the treatment of low testosterone.  There are many reasons why a man might develop "low T" and she will evaluate men for disorders of both the pituitary gland and the testes themselves.  Sometimes, it is unknown why a man may have insufficient testosterone levels and this may occur with age, obesity and type 2 diabetes.  Individuals who are interested in testosterone replacement must first be established patients so that Dr.  Hayes can obtain a thorough history, perform a physical exam and order appropriate lab tests.
INTRODUCING TESTOPEL
The most innovative way to replace testosterone

Testopel is the most physiologic treatment for low testosterone in men.  Testopel is a form of testosterone replacement represented by small pellets that are placed in the fatty tissue of the lower flank/upper buttock area.  Testopel provides steady testosterone levels over a 3 to 4 month period.  Other testosterone replacement methods may not get blood levels to goal and they may be inconvenient to use.  With Testopel, Dr. Hayes inserts 6 or more pellets every three months and this is accomplished in a 15 minute office visit.  Prior to insertion, Dr. Hayes' staff runs the patient's insurance benefits to make sure that this procedure is covered.
